Brewers Draw non league Needham Market

Burton Albion will start off their FA Cup campaign against non league opposition as Needham Market will visit the Pirelli Stadium , with the tie set to take place over the weekend of 8th November 2022.

The Suffolk outfit will visit Burton for the first time in their history as they look to claim a big scalp against football league opposition.

The Marketmen play there football in step 7 of the English footballing pyramid and are in league which include the Brewers' local rivals Tamworth. Needham overcame Maidstone United in the fourth qualifying round beating the national league outfit 1-0 thanks to a Luke Ingram goal

The Brewers will look to come through the 1st round, just like they did last season when the navigated a tough 1-0 win away at Fleetwood town, with a goal courtesy of former loanee Daniel Jebbison to advance into the second round.

Albion were then drew against Staffordshire rivals Port Vale at home, but unfortunately fell to a 2-1 loss at the Pirelli Stadium against the Valliant's.
